We are a First Nations creative and cultural collective based in Sydney and surrounds.
We engage in art, storytelling, and hands-on making to support intergenerational healing, cultural awareness, youth engagement, cultural continuity, self-determination and economic growth for the First Nations communities.
Our principles are focused on long-term impact, belonging, fostering connection, cultural awareness, and empowerment through the arts.
Founded by Lyle Ah Sam, a contemporary Raark artist and educator, Soul Reign honours the rich traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage, blending them with innovative artistry and transformative education to create meaningful change. Lyle Ah Sam’s art embodies the spirit of First Nations culture, weaving stories of resilience, connection, and identity. His works invite dialogue, bridge generations, and celebrate cultural pride.

Goodways Project
A new initiative by Soul Reign—Goodways is an intergenerational space for cultural learning, creative enterprise, and community connection. Funded by the City of Sydney, this project brings art, identity, and belonging together through hands-on workshops, mentoring, and storytelling.
